BioCAB standardized systems,
processes and procedures allows for significantly faster
and more reliable project budget and timeline development
based only on the project specifications. Reliable project
budgets result in lower budget to actual cost variances.
Based on our experience and expertise in using BioCAB’s
standard systems, processes and procedures, we have developed
fixed unit prices for all project related Data Management activities.
These fixed unit prices have been incorporated into an Estimating
Budget Worksheet Algorithm (EBWA) tool, which is available
upon request. To develop a project Data Management budget with
the EBWA tool requires only an estimate of the project type
and project specifications. With the EBWA tool, BioCAB
clients can develop project Data Management budgets for any kind
of clinical trial, and determine the impact of any project
scope changes on their Data Managements budget. Since BioCAB
clients are billed on a transactional basis using the same
unit costs and format as are used in developing the budget,
BioCAB clients can continuously
compare actual project costs versus the project budget and
identify budget variances with associated project scope
changes.
With reliable production timelines, the start and stop dates
of subject enrollment become the only variables in determining
the project completion date. Consequently, BioCAB
projects consistently meet or exceed budget and timeline
expectations.
